Description: #10 brass heavy-duty separating zippers are made of heavy-gauge metal and feature teeth that measure approximately 10mm (1/2 inch) wide when zipped. These jumbo zippers separate at the bottom, jacket-style. The zipper teeth have a shiny gold/brass finish. These are one-way zippers (they have one slider). Plastic zippers do not last and especially on jackets that are used in mechanical work. We wished metal zippers were on the purchased jackets, but they are not. We are glad to replace them with metal zippers that will last as long as the jacket. The quality of the zipper is far superior to plastic.

Needed a replacement for a Carhart style jacket that came with a no.5 size zipper. Decided to upgrade to a no.10 (have one on another heavy jacket nd really like it).
