Description: #5 brass Nomex® fire retardant zippers are made of medium-weight metal and feature teeth that measure approximately 5mm (1/4 inch) wide when zipped. The zipper tape is made of fire-retardant, high-temperature resistant Nomex® material. Zippers separate at the bottom, jacket-style. The zipper teeth have a shiny gold/brass finish. These are one-way zippers (they have one slider).

These types of zippers are extremely hard to find. The company we purchased the race jacket from wanted us to send it to them to repair - which came with a hefty fee. I knew we could replace the zipper ourselves. This is literally the only place I could find that would do a custom length. It was perfect and my husbands jacket is fixed and hes ready to race.
