Description: #8 molded plastic separating zippers feature teeth that measure approximately 8mm (0.3 inches) wide when zipped. Often called sport zippers or parka zippers, #8 molded plastic separating zippers separate at the bottom, jacket-style. These are one-way zippers (they have one slider). This is the perfect in-between zipper when a #5 gauge is too light, but a #10 is too heavy.

My daughter's new winter coat's zipper ripped with usual wear after only a year. Of course, it was an odd length. Loved being able to buy a zipper the ACTUAL size. Went in very well. Daughter is happy that her expensive winter coat has been saved, avoiding additional expense and waste. Overall, I'm very pleased.

This is the first time I had you make the length needed for jackets I was repairing for my husband and son.
Both turned out great.
Was unable to use the metal one because of snaps and thickness of the coat. Didn't realize it until I took to the cleaners and they did a temporary fix I couldn't do. Thank you for the zippers!

The zipper is good, but I failed to understand about the size. The zipper was in 36" and then if you want a different length you have to specify and I think it costs more to get it in a shorter length. I was confused so I chose an even # for my order. It turned out to not fit my coat. So I had to reorder and there was no return for the wrong zipper. I was disappointed. But then I ordered to odd size and it came promptly, and fit my coat. Thank you. It would have been better if this was better described when you need an odd size. No one to blame but myself, I just did not understand the method of sizing.
