I bought two 7” zippers and sewed them in pockets by hand and they worked very well.

Molded Zipper

Unfortunately, I was not able to use the zipper in the shirt I had purchased it for, as the teeth were to large. I had to get a different zipper to put in that shirt. I will hold onto it as I will probably be able to use it in something else.
