Tent Zippers

The #10 gauge zippers are the most heavy duty and durable, and are a good choice for a replacement zipper on a larger tent or a tent that gets a lot of use. Zipper Shipper Sewing Supplies offers #10 tent zippers with molded plastic zipper teeth, as well as zippers with metal teeth. Tent zippers with molded plastic zipper teeth are designed to withstand the elements and weigh less than zippers with metal teeth. Need something even heavier? Brass metal zippers for tents are also available. Medium weight #5 brass metal zippers are also available, and are worth considering for children's tents. With all of our tent zippers, you have a choice of sliders. Autolock sliders lock into place when the pull tab is in the down position, and can't be moved except when the pull tab is pulled downward. Non-locking sliders can be pulled from any direction. Zippers with two-handle sliders are especially good for sewing into your tent to replace the old zipper, since they allow for access from both inside and outside the tent door.
